She found out today, that she is having another little girl :)I am so excited for her, I know that's what she wanted, and I had one of those "feelings" anyway that she'd be expecting another princess. So, I started on a few things. I am going to make her a basketful of baby washcloths. Pretty pinks, and purples. Just the right size and I know she'll appreciate them. Here's the one I've started.
Another thing that I would really love to do, is delve into the art of soap making. Now I've never done it before, aside from the little kit you get as a kid, so this is going to be quite interesting for me. I've looked at quite a few website tutorials, and a few places for supplies, but I'm not sure exactly what I'm trying to do here. So it's going to take a bit more research on my part before I get started. I do know that she loves the organic homemade things more than store bought, as do I, and I am thinking, if it's possible, to make something that can combine oatmeal and lavender together. Anyway. Not sure what's going to happen with that, but I am so excited!!
I also found an AWESOME website for dischcloth patterns. It has almost everything imaginable, as far as letters, and numbers, all 50 states... Just interesting stuff. I found a pattern for a bigger dishcloth with the letter "R" on it, which is for the baby's first name. I thought along in the basket with the baby cloths, I would add the soaps and also make this cloth with her initial on it, just for something pretty. What do you think?
